For over 60 years Catholic communities for consecrated life have been at the heart of CECI, the Center for International Studies and Cooperation. However, most people are unaware of how deeply rooted and extensive our partnership is. Together our work for international solidarity stretches far beyond mere financial transactions. Over the years we have collaborated on many different levels and in many different spheres to fight against poverty, exclusion and inequalities.

The 7-hour marathon, conducted in 5 languages, includes time for prayer and for presentations by witnesses concerning various efforts against trafficking throughout the world.
Read moreThe Congregation of the Sisters of St. Joseph in Canada is saddened to announce the death of Sister Margaret Kane on January 30, 2021 in her 62nd year as a Sister of St Joseph. She ministered as an educator, rooted in faith and the love of the congregation. She was elected the General Superior of the Hamilton Community in 1999 and was well known for her facilitation of chapters, spiritual direction and formation work.

They have also launched a web site entirely dedicated to their commitments at home and abroad. This double launch in virtual mode brings to an end a four-year long adventure for historians Chantal Gauthier and France Lord who went back in time and highlighted important moments in the history of the Canadian entity.
