Pope Francis, in the recent Encyclical Fratelli tutti, invites us to dream together: “Here we have a splendid secret that shows us how to dream and to turn our life into a wonderful adventure. No one can face life in isolation… We need a community that supports and helps us, in which we can help one another to keep looking ahead. How important it is to dream together…” (No 8).
The CICLSAL hopes that the presentation of this book will be a space to dream together of a more faithful, joyful and persevering consecrated life.

About
The Gift of Fidelity and the Joy of Perseverance is a document from the CICLSAL on the current difficulties of members and departures in Institutes of Consecrated Life as well as Secular Institutes. Its purpose is to elaborate and propose some indications regarding the accompaniment of sensitive situations, but also to provide congregations with the norms of Canon Law and CICLSAL practices that must be respected in such situations. On a subject as delicate as leaving consecrated life, it is important to offer both an attentive look and a sincere listening. Discernment of the person concerned, of the accompanier and of the community is even more necessary than elsewhere.
