  • Creation of a Chair of Research on Consecrated Life

    Over the past months, the CRC has been approached by several entities to participate as a partner in three projects around consecrated life in Canada. It is in this perspective that the CRC is organizing a first information meeting concerning the project for the creation of a Chair of Research on Consecrated Life at Laval University in Quebec City.

  • Integral Ecology projects

    Over the past months, the CRC has been approached by several entities to participate as a partner in three projects around consecrated life in Canada. It is in this perspective that the CRC is organizing a new information meeting concerning this time two projects pertaining to integral ecology: A School of Integral Ecology at Saint-Paul University (SPU) and an Office of Religious Congregations for Integral Ecology (ORCIE).

  • Returning to the source: Charism and the prophetic character in an evolving consecrated life

    As announced last July, the fall programming will be dedicated to charism and the prophetic character in consecrated life through four online activities from September to November. These activities are intended to respond to the desire of the CRC network to continue to meet and reflect together, according to the priorities identified by the 2021 General Assembly. This first webinar will be hosted by four resource persons from the CRC's Theological Commission.

  • Truth and Reconciliation Week 2021

    TRUTH AND RECONCILIATION WEEK is a 5-day national event that will continue the conversations from Every Child Matters. Important conversations including the truths of the Indigenous treaties, First Nation, Métis and Inuit land claims, and the residential schools system. This online event will provide historical workshops, exclusive video content, and activities for students — all supported by artistic and cultural performances by First Nations, Métis, and Inuit artists.

  • School of Integral Ecology Project at Saint Paul University

    The CRC is pleased to propose a second webinar on the project for a School of Integral Ecology at Saint-Paul University (SPU). The School of Integral Ecology will create academic programs dedicated to the study and advancement of the synthesis of integral ecology from Laudato Si', within the institutional framework of a recognized Catholic university.

  • National Forums: “Returning to the source: Charism and the prophetic character in an evolving consecrated life”

    The fall process is a common reflection on the evolution of consecrated life and the themes of charism and the prophetic character. In October, two National Forums will be proposed. The objective of these forums is in line with the September webinar. The forums will allow participants to discuss how charism and the prophetic character are experienced and evolve in their communities.
