In celebration of its 15th anniversary, the Green Churches Network will host a series of free virtual conferences throughout the year. Agnes Richard, Coordinator of the Global Catholic Climate Movement – Canada will share ideas about who our neighbour might be, and how we can be prepared to help, if help is needed. Suggestions will guide contemplation of resilience around the specific example of extended summertime heatwaves.

Find out moreThe Faculty of Theology at Saint Paul University is offering an intensive online summer course from June 7 to 12 on the churches and reconciliation with Indigenous Peoples. The focus of the course is to provide a brief historical background and an update on the state of the reconciliation process, and to frame the present pastoral and theological questions and challenges as well as the progress made since the final report of the TRC and the Calls to Action.

As announced last July, the fall programming will be dedicated to charism and the prophetic character in consecrated life through four online activities from September to November. These activities are intended to respond to the desire of the CRC network to continue to meet and reflect together, according to the priorities identified by the 2021 General Assembly. This first webinar will be hosted by four resource persons from the CRC's Theological Commission.

Important conversations including the truths of the Indigenous treaties, First Nation, Métis and Inuit land claims, and the residential schools system. This online event will provide historical workshops, exclusive video content, and activities for students — all supported by artistic and cultural performances by First Nations, Métis, and Inuit artists.
