The Canadian Religious Conference is pleased to organize a formation day on the topic \u201cthe\u00a0art of living and dying<\/strong><\/span>\u201d. We are delighted to have with us Sister Nuala Kenny<\/strong><\/span>\u00a0from the Sisters of Charity of Halifax. She is also\u00a0a\u00a0medical doctor, O.C., M.D., F.R.C.P.\u00a0Shortly after receiving her MD from Dalhousie University, she became a Fellow of the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada, and was certified by the American Board of Paediatrics. Among her many accolades, she was appointed an Officer of the Order of Canada for her contributions to child health and medical education and has received a Queen\u2019s Jubilee Medal.<\/p>\n

In the afternoon a discussion panel will be hosted by\u00a0Rose DeAngelis and\u00a0<\/strong>Lana McGeary<\/strong>,\u00a0Director Special Projects and\u00a0Spiritual Care Counsellor at the\u00a0West Island Palliative Care Residence<\/a><\/strong> (Kirkland, Quebec).<\/p>\n
